EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of freedom and service. Umm Salamah freed her slave, Safinah, but with a condition - that he serve the Prophet for as long as he lived. This hadith teaches us that freedom is not only about being liberated from physical bondage but also about having an obligation to serve others in our community. It is important to remember that even when we are free from certain obligations or restrictions, we still have responsibilities towards others and should strive to fulfill them with dedication and commitment. Furthermore, this hadith also highlights the importance of service - it is not just something we do out of obligation or duty but something we should do out of love and respect for those around us. We should always strive to be helpful and supportive towards our family members, friends and neighbors in order to create a better society for everyone.
