QUICK LESSONS:
Do not take more than your fair share of the water in common pastures and leave enough for everyone else who needs it.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, teaches us that it is not permissible to withhold surplus water from common pastureland. Common pasturelands are areas of land where people can graze their animals and use the water for them. In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is teaching us that we should not take more than our fair share of the water in these areas and should leave enough for everyone else who needs it. This hadith also teaches us about fairness and sharing resources with others. We should be mindful of how much we take so that everyone has enough to meet their needs.
