Narrated Mu'adha: A woman asked 'Aisha, "Should I offer the prayers that which I did not offer because of menses" 'Aisha said, "Are you from the Huraura' (a town in Iraq?) We were with the Prophet and used to get our periods but he never ordered us to offer them (the Prayers missed during menses)"'.Aisha perhaps said, "We did not offer them".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic law . Respect and revere Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Understand religious rulings .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a woman who asked 'Aisha whether she should make up for the prayers that she missed due to her menses. In response, 'Aisha said that when they were with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, they did not offer those prayers. This hadith teaches us that we do not have to make up for any of our prayers missed during our menses. It also shows us how much respect and reverence Muslims have for their beloved prophet ﷺ as even though it was allowed by Islamic law to make up for these prayers, he never ordered them to do so.
