Ownership of Umra and Ruqba

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that Umra and Ruqba belong to the person to whom it is given.

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah said: "Umra belongs to the one to whom it is given, and Ruqba belongs to the one to whom it is given".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous when giving gifts; Respect the rights of others; Show gratitude for what you have been given .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that when someone gives a gift such as an umrah or ruqbah, the recipient has full ownership over it. This means that they can do whatever they want with it without having to ask for permission from anyone else. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was emphasizing the importance of respecting gifts and not taking them away from their rightful owners. He also wanted to remind us that we should be generous when giving gifts and not expect anything in return. We should also be thankful for any gifts we receive and use them wisely.
