QUICK LESSONS:
Practice spiritual retreat during last ten days of Ramadan

EXPLANATIONS:
During the last ten days of Ramadan, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would practice a spiritual retreat known as I'tikaf. This is a form of worship that involves secluding oneself in a mosque for an extended period of time with the intention to focus on prayer and devotion to Allah. Abdullah bin Umar was one of the companions who witnessed this practice firsthand and even showed Nafi', another companion, where exactly it took place. This hadith serves as an example for Muslims today who wish to follow in his footsteps by engaging in I'tikaf during this blessed month. Through this act we can strive towards greater piety and closeness with Allah SWT.
