QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah's commands , Follow Islamic traditions , Perform voluntary acts of worship such as charity and reciting Quran instead .
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prohibited fasting during the month of Rajab. This is because it was not a practice of the Prophet ﷺ or his companions and it was not part of the Islamic tradition. It is important to note that this prohibition does not mean that one cannot fast voluntarily during this month, but rather that one should not make it a regular practice or an obligation upon oneself. Additionally, there are other acts of worship such as charity and reciting Quran which can be done instead of fasting during this month.
