Sunan Ibn Majah 1371 (Book 5, Hadith 569) #30723
Praying with Strength and Resting When Tired

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to pray with energy and strength, but if we get tired, we should sit down.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah entered the mosque and saw a rope tied between two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?" They said: "It belongs to Zainab. She prays here and when she gets tired she holds on to it". He said: "Untie it, untie it; let any one of you pray when he has energy, if he gets tired let him sit down".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray with energy until you need to rest ; Respect your body's limits during prayer time ; Take care of yourself by resting when needed .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered a mosque and saw a rope tied between two pillars. He asked what it was for, and they said it was for Zainab who prayed there and held onto the rope when she got tired. The Prophet then said that anyone who prays should do so with strength, but if they get tired they should sit down. This teaches us that prayer is important in Islam, but we must also take care of ourselves by resting when needed. We must not push ourselves too hard or become exhausted while praying as this can lead to physical harm or injury. Instead, we should pray with energy and strength until we feel comfortable enough to rest or take a break from our prayers if needed.
