Make sincere and earnest pleas for things you need from Allah with utmost humility and sincerity.

This hadith speaks to the importance of prayer and supplication. It is narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Prophet did not raise his hands in any of his supplications except when praying for rain, when he raised them so high that the whiteness of his armpits could be seen. This shows us how important it was to him to make a sincere and earnest plea for rain, as he put forth all of his effort into it. It also teaches us about humility and sincerity in prayer, as we should strive to make our prayers with utmost sincerity and humility before Allah.
