Asking for Needs on Fridays

SUMMARY: The people used to ask the Prophet ﷺ for their needs when he came down from the pulpit on Fridays.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the people used to speak to the Prophet about their needs when he came down from the pulpit on Friday.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ ـ كَانَ يُكَلَّمُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَنِ الْمِنْبَرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how people used to ask the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for their needs when he came down from the pulpit on Fridays. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that people would speak to him about their needs and requests when he descended from his minbar or pulpit after delivering his sermon. This hadith teaches us that it is important to be humble and ask for help if we need it. We should also remember that Allah is always there to help us in our times of need and He will answer our prayers if we are sincere in our intentions. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us of the importance of being patient and not giving up hope even in difficult times as Allah will surely answer our prayers eventually.
