The Practice of Qailulah After Friday Prayer

SUMMARY: Taking a nap after performing the Friday prayer was a common practice among the companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

It was narrated that Anas said: "We used to perform the Friday (prayer), then we would return for a nap (Qailulah)".
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُجَمِّعُ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ فَنَقِيلُ
