Sunan Ibn Majah 946 (Book 5, Hadith 144) #30298
The Sin of Passing in Front of Someone Praying

SUMMARY: It is better to wait for a hundred years than to take one step in front of someone who is praying.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Prophet said: 'If anyone of you knew (how great is the sin involved) in passing in front of his brother while he is performing prayer, waiting for one hundred years would be better for him than one step that he takes.’"

QUICK LESSONS:
Wait patiently until people have finished their prayer before moving on with our day .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of respecting those who are praying. We should not pass in front of them, as this is considered a great sin. Instead, we should wait patiently until they have finished their prayer before we move on with our day. We must also remember that it would be better to wait for a hundred years than to take one step in front of someone who is praying. This shows us how important it is to respect those who are worshipping Allah and not disturb them while they are doing so.
