SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his humility and devotion to prayer, even going so far as to keep his arms away from his sides when he prostrated.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of humility in prayer. It is narrated by Ahmar, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, that they used to feel sorry for him because he took pains to keep his arms away from his sides when he prostrated. This shows how devoted and humble he was during prayer. He did not want any part of himself or anything else around him to distract him from focusing on God during this time. This teaches us that we should strive for humility and focus on God while praying as well. We should be mindful that our prayers are a form of worship and respect towards God and we should take it seriously with all our heart and soul.
