QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your bodily needs before engaging in any religious activities such as salat or wudu'.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Umamah states that the Prophet Muhammad forbade a man from performing prayer when he was suppressing the urge to urinate or defecate. This means that it is not permissible for a person to pray if they are in need of relieving themselves and have not done so yet. It is important for Muslims to ensure that their bodies and clothes are clean before performing salat as this is an essential part of prayer. Additionally, it is important for Muslims to be mindful of their bodily needs and take care of them before engaging in any religious activities such as salat or wudu'. Furthermore, if one has relieved themselves but still feels unclean then they must perform ghusl before praying. This hadith serves as a reminder for Muslims to take care of their bodily needs before engaging in any religious activities.
