EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the experience of the Prophet Muhammad when he received revelation from Allah. It was narrated by 'Aishah who said that Al-Harith bin Hisham asked the Prophet how does revelation come to him. The Messenger of Allah replied that sometimes it comes to him like a ringing bell and this is the hardest upon him and sometimes an angel appears to him in human form and speaks to him such that he understands what he says. 'Aishah also said she saw the Messenger of Allah while revelation was descending upon him on an extremely cold day and then it ceased and his forehead was flooded with sweat. This hadith teaches us that we should be grateful for all blessings we receive from God as they are not easy for anyone to receive or bear. It also teaches us patience as even though receiving revelations can be difficult at times, one must remain patient in order for them to be able to understand what God has revealed through His angels or other means.
