Signs of Blessing from Allah

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the blessings of signs from Allah and how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged people to perform wudu.

Narrated 'Abdullah: "You consider the signs to be punishment, whereas we used to think of them as a blessing during the time of the Messenger of Allah . We used to eat food with the Prophet and we would hear the food's Tasbih". He said: "And the Prophet was brought a container, so he put his hand it in, and the water began to spring from between his fingers. So the Prophet said: 'Hasten to the blessed Wudu and the blessing from the heavens' until all of had performed Wudu".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ تَعُدُّونَ الآيَاتِ عَذَابًا وَإِنَّا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ بَرَكَةً لَقَدْ كُنَّا نَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ وَنَحْنُ نَسْمَعُ تَسْبِيحَ الطَّعَامِ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ بِإِنَاءٍ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَنْبُعُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ حَىَّ عَلَى الْوَضُوءِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأْنَا كُلُّنَا ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the blessings that come with signs from Allah. It was narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ood who said that during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) they used to consider signs as a blessing rather than punishment. He also mentioned that they used to eat food with the Prophet and hear its tasbih. Then he said that one day a container was brought to the Prophet and when he put his hand in it water began to spring between his fingers. The Prophet then encouraged them all to perform wudu as it was a blessing from heaven.
