The Power of Supplication

SUMMARY: Supplication is not rejected between the Adhan and the Iqamah.

Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet said: "The supplication is not rejected between the Adhan and the Iqamah".

QUICK LESSONS:
Make supplications during times of adhaan and iqaama.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Anas bin Malik tells us that supplications are never rejected between the Adhan and the Iqamah. The Adhan is a call to prayer, while the Iqamah is a second call to prayer that signals that it's time for people to line up for prayer. This means that any supplications made during this time will be accepted by Allah, so it's important to take advantage of this opportunity and make as many supplications as possible. It also teaches us about how powerful our words can be, since even if we don't have much else in life, we can still use our words to ask Allah for help and guidance.
