Jami at-Tirmidhi 3267 (Book 47, Hadith 319) #28916
Praise and Censure Belong to Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that it is for Allah to decide who deserves praise and who deserves censure.

Narrated Al-Bara bin 'Azib: regarding the saying of Allah the Most High: Verily, those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense (49:4). He said: "A man stood and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed my praise (of others) is worthwhile and my censure is appropriate'. So the Prophet said: 'That is for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for kindness & understanding towards others

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is only for Allah to decide who deserves praise and who deserves censure. We should not be quick to judge others or think we know better than the Almighty. It is important to remember that only He knows what lies in the hearts of people and can make a fair judgement about them. We should always strive to be kind and understanding towards others as we do not know their full story or what they are going through. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us of the importance of humility; even if we think our opinion is correct or our judgement sound, ultimately it belongs in the hands of God alone.
