QUICK LESSONS:
Pray at Maqam of Ibraham
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik tells us that Umar ibn Al-Khattab asked the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) if he could perform salat behind the maqam of Ibrahim. In response to this request, Allah revealed a verse from the Quran which stated that one should take the maqam of Ibrahim as a place for salat. This hadith teaches us about how important it is to pray and how we can use places associated with prophets such as Abraham in order to do so. It also shows us how our prayers can be answered by Allah if we ask sincerely and humbly. Furthermore, it reminds us that even though we may not always get what we want or expect from our prayers, Allah will always provide an answer in His own way and time.
