This hadith explains the ten practices that are part of the Fitrah, or natural state of a person. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that these ten practices should be done in order to stay in our natural state and to keep ourselves clean and healthy. These include paring one's mustache, leaving one's beard to grow, using a siwak for cleaning teeth and mouth, cleaning one's nose with water, paring fingernails, washing knuckles with water after eating food, plucking underarm hair when it grows too long and shaving pubic hairs when they become too long as well. Lastly is intiqas which is washing oneself with water after relieving oneself from bodily functions such as urination or defecation.
