Focus on doing good deeds for eternal rewards

This hadith emphasizes that the world is nothing compared to the Hereafter. It compares it to a person dipping their finger into an ocean and only getting a drop of water in return. This means that whatever we get from this world is insignificant when compared with what we will get in the hereafter. We should not give too much importance or value to worldly matters as they are temporary and will eventually come to an end, whereas our deeds in this life will determine our fate in the hereafter. Therefore, it is important for us to focus on doing good deeds so that we can reap its rewards in eternity.
