EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a prophecy made by the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). He said that a black banner would come from the region of Khurasan and would not be stopped until it reached Jerusalem. This prophecy has been interpreted in many ways by Islamic scholars over the centuries but one interpretation is that this banner symbolizes an army or group of people who will fight for justice and truth in the world and will eventually reach their goal in Jerusalem. It could also represent a spiritual journey to seek knowledge or enlightenment which culminates in reaching Jerusalem as its destination point. Whatever interpretation we choose to believe, this hadith teaches us to strive for justice and truth no matter what obstacles may stand in our way because ultimately we can achieve our goals if we remain steadfast on our path towards them with faith and determination.
