QUICK LESSONS:
Give women their due rights in terms of inheriting property and possessions after someone passes away .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that women are entitled to three types of inheritance. The first type is a freed slave; if a woman frees a slave, then she will be given an inheritance from them. The second type is any child for which she makes Li’an; this refers to when two people make an oath in front of witnesses that they are not married and have no children together. If it turns out later on that they do have children together, then the woman will receive an inheritance from them. Lastly, if there is a foundling who has no known parents or family members, then the woman will also receive an inheritance from them as well. This hadith emphasizes the importance of giving women their due rights in terms of inheriting property and possessions after someone passes away.
