EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Mas’ud Al-Ansari states that spending on one’s family is an act of charity. This means that providing for the needs of your family, such as food, clothing and shelter, is a form of giving to those in need and thus a charitable deed. It also implies that taking care of your family should be seen as a priority over other forms of charity. This hadith encourages us to be generous with our families and to provide for them in whatever way we can. It also teaches us the importance of looking after our loved ones and being responsible for their well-being.
