SUMMARY: The hadith is about the inheritance of blood-money by a wife from her husband.

Narrated Sa'eed bin Al-Musayyab: that 'Umar would say: "The blood-money upon the tribe, and the wife does not inherit any of her husband's blood-money". Seek knowledge and advice from those who are more knowledgeable than you
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith discusses the issue of inheritance in regards to blood money. According to this hadith, narrated by Sa'eed bin Al Musayyab, 'Umar said that the wife does not inherit any of her husband's blood money. However, Ad Dahhak bin Sufyan Al Kulabi informed him that the Prophet Muhammad wrote to him that Ashaim Ad Dibabi's wife inherited her husband's blood money. This shows us that it is permissible for a wife to inherit her husband's blood money if he passes away. It also teaches us about how important it is to seek knowledge and advice from those who are more knowledgeable than us in order for us to make sure we are following Islamic teachings correctly.
