Picking Fruits from Trees

SUMMARY: It is permissible to pick fruits from trees if one is in need and does not take more than what they need.

Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib: From his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet was asked about hanging fruits (on the trees), so he said: "Whoever is in need and picks some of it without taking any in his garment, then there is no sin upon him". Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
