The Importance of the Tashah-hud in Sermons

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that a sermon without the Tashah-hud is incomplete.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: "Every Khutbah that does not have the Tashah-hud in it, then it is like a severed hand".

QUICK LESSONS:
Include the recitation of the Tashah-hud in sermons.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that a sermon should include the recitation of the Tashah-hud. This is an important part of Islamic prayer and it serves as a reminder to believers to thank Allah for His blessings and ask for His guidance. It also serves as an acknowledgement of faith in Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad (PBUH). By including this part in sermons, Muslims are reminded to stay true to their faith and be thankful for all that they have been given. Furthermore, it serves as a reminder that we should always strive to do good deeds and seek guidance from Allah at all times.
