EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us against the practice of announcing one's death, which was a common practice during pre-Islamic times. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that this is not something we should do, as it is an outdated and unnecessary custom. Instead, we should focus on being kind to those who have passed away and remember them in our prayers. We can also help their families by providing support and comfort during this difficult time. By avoiding the announcement of someone's death, we are showing respect for the deceased and their loved ones.
