The Prophet's Witr Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would perform Witr during all of the night, either at its beginning, middle or end.

Masruq narrated that : he asked Aishah about the Witr of the Prophet. She said: "He would perform Witr during all of the night; (either) its beginning, its middle, or its end. So when he died, his Witr ended, during the approach of As-Sahar".

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform regular prayers consistently throughout the day
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of prayer in Islam. It is narrated by Masruq and Aishah that the Prophet Muhammad used to perform his witr prayer during all of the night - either at its beginning, middle or end. This shows us how important it was for him to pray and how devoted he was to it. It also teaches us that we should be consistent with our prayers and make sure we are praying regularly throughout the day. We should also strive to make our prayers meaningful by focusing on them while we are performing them. Lastly, this hadith reminds us that even though death is inevitable, we should still strive to do good deeds until our last breath as this is what will benefit us in both worlds - this world and hereafter.
