EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of marriage contracts and fulfilling them. It is narrated by 'Uqba bin Amir that Allah's Messenger said that among all the conditions which must be fulfilled, marriage contracts have the greatest right to be fulfilled. This means that it is important to fulfill any promises made in a marriage contract and not break them. It also implies that couples should take their marriage seriously and make sure they are both committed to fulfilling their obligations as husband and wife. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about the importance of honoring our commitments in general; if we make a promise or agreement with someone else then we should do our best to keep it.
