EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of prayer in Islam and how it should be done. It is narrated by Malik bin Al-Huwairith Al-Laithi who saw Allah's Messenger performing Salat. He noticed that when he was in an odd number of his Salat, he would not get up until he had sat completely. This shows us that even though we may be in a hurry to finish our prayers, we should still take our time and sit for a few moments before standing up again. It also teaches us to pay attention to details and make sure we are doing things correctly even if it takes a bit longer than usual. We can learn from this example set by the Prophet Muhammad that prayer is important and should be done with care and attention to detail.
