Prostration with Knees

SUMMARY: The Prophet advised his companions to use their knees when prostrating due to the difficulty of the position.

Abu Hurairah narrated: "Some of the Companions of the Prophet complained to the Prophet about the hardship of the prostration on them, when they were so spread out, so he said: 'Use your knees'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Ask for help if something is too difficult; Be mindful and considerate towards others; Follow religious practices with patience and understanding.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah speaks about the difficulty of prostrating in prayer. Some of the companions complained to the Prophet about how hard it was for them to keep their bodies in a straight line while prostrating, so he advised them to use their knees instead. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful and considerate towards others, especially when it comes to religious practices. It also shows us that we should not be afraid or ashamed of asking for help if something is too difficult for us, as Allah will always provide a solution and make things easier for us.
