EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's journey of Isra, which took place on a night known as Laylatu al-Isrā'. During this journey, fifty prayers were made obligatory upon him. However, Allah reduced this number to five. This shows that Allah's word does not change; even though the number of prayers was decreased from fifty to five, they will still be recorded as if he prayed fifty times. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to do our best in fulfilling our obligations and duties towards Allah and His religion. We should also remember that no matter how much we do or how little we do for Him, He will always reward us for it accordingly.
