The Influence of the Devil

SUMMARY: The devil can influence a person's thoughts and actions.

Anas b. Malik reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying : The devil flows in a man like his blood.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَجْرِي مِنِ ابْنِ آدَمَ مَجْرَى الدَّمِ
