QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid sitting together, Respect others’ beliefs

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith advises us to be mindful of our interactions with those who believe in free will. We should avoid sitting with them and refrain from addressing them until they address us first. This is because the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was concerned that engaging in conversations about free will could lead to arguments and disputes, which are discouraged by Islam. The hadith also teaches us the importance of respecting others’ beliefs, even if we do not agree with them. We should be tolerant of different opinions and strive for peace instead of conflict when interacting with people who have different views than ours.
