Sunan Abi Dawud 4687 (Book 42, Hadith 92) #24978
Do Not Accuse Others of Unbelief

SUMMARY: Believing men should not call other believing men unbelievers unless they are sure that the person is actually an infidel.

Ibn 'Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying : If any believing man calls another believing man an unbeliever, if he is actually an infidel, it is all right ; if not, he will become an infidel.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be careful when accusing someone else of being an unbeliever
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that we should be careful when accusing someone of being an unbeliever. We must be sure that the person is actually an infidel before making such a serious accusation, as it can have serious consequences for both parties involved. It is important to remember that even if someone does not believe in what we believe, it does not necessarily make them an unbeliever. We must always strive to maintain peace and harmony between ourselves and others, regardless of our differences in beliefs or opinions.
