QUICK LESSONS:
Take action according to Islamic teachings
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the verse from the Quran which states that one must not only say they have submitted their will to Allah, but also act upon it. Al-Zuhri explains that this means that saying you are Muslim is not enough, you must also have faith in your actions. To be a true believer, one must both say and do what Allah has commanded. It is not enough to just talk about it; one must live by it as well. This hadith teaches us that words alone are not enough to show our faith in Allah; we must also take action in order for our faith to be complete.
