Belief in Predestination According to al-Hasan

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the belief of al-Hasan in predestination and how it was in accordance with the Sunnah and sight.

Yahya b. Kathir al-'Anbari said: Qurrah b. Khalid used to tell us: O young people! Do not think that al-Hasan denied predestination, for his opinion (ie, belief) was sunnah and sight.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the belief of al-Hasan regarding predestination, which is a concept that states that everything has already been predetermined by Allah. Al-Hasan believed that this concept was in accordance with both the Sunnah and sight, meaning that it was accepted by Islamic teachings as well as what could be seen through observation. The hadith encourages young people to not think otherwise, but rather accept this idea as true and follow it accordingly. It also serves as a reminder for us all to trust in Allah's plan for us and have faith even when things don't go our way or make sense at first glance. The values taught here are faith, trust, acceptance of God's will, following Islamic teachings, and using observation to understand life better.
