This hadith is about the Prophet's order to Arfajah ibn As'ad to replace his silver nose with a gold one. Arfajah was injured in the battle of al-Kilab and lost his nose as a result. He was given a silver prosthetic but it developed an unpleasant smell so the Prophet ordered him to replace it with gold instead. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for excellence and not settle for anything less than what is best for us.
