Avoid having tinkling bells or any other loud noises or distractions which may disturb spiritual beings present around us at all times . Create an environment where they can feel comfortable and welcomed into our homes .

This hadith is about the prohibition of bells in a house as it prevents angels from entering. It was narrated by Bunanah, female client of 'Abd al-Rahman b. Hayyan al-Ansari who said that when she was with 'Aishah a girl wearing little tinkling bells was brought in to her and she ordered that they were not to bring her in where she was unless they cut off her little bells. She said that she heard the Messenger of Allah say that the angels do not enter a house which has bells inside it. This hadith teaches us to be mindful and respectful when we are inside our homes and avoid doing anything which may prevent angels from entering our homes such as having tinkling bells or any other loud noises or distractions which may disturb them. We should also be aware that even though we cannot see them, there are still spiritual beings present around us at all times and we should strive to create an environment where they can feel comfortable and welcomed into our homes.
