EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a question posed to Anas regarding whether or not the Prophet dyed his hair. Anas replied that he did not dye his hair, but Abu Bakr and Umar did. This hadith teaches us that it is permissible to dye one's hair in Islam as long as it does not involve any prohibited substances such as alcohol or pork derivatives. It also shows us how important it is to follow the example of our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who refrained from dying his own hair despite others doing so around him. We should strive to emulate this example by avoiding unnecessary vanity and focusing on more important matters such as worshiping Allah SWT and following His commands with sincerity.
