Avoiding Crime Against Children

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ warned a man or the narrator's father not to commit any crime against the narrator, who had stained his beard with henna.

Narrated AbuRimthah: I and my father came to the Prophet . He said to a man or to my father: Who is this? He replied: He is my son. He said: Do not commit a crime on him. He had stained his beard with henna.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِيَادِ بْنِ لَقِيطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ أَنَا وَأَبِي فَقَالَ لِرَجُلٍ أَوْ لأَبِيهِ ‏"‏ مَنْ هَذَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنِي ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ تَجْنِي عَلَيْهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَكَانَ قَدْ لَطَخَ لِحْيَتَهُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by AbuRimthah and it talks about avoiding committing any crime against children. In this hadith, the Prophet was talking to a man or to AbuRimthah's father when he noticed that AbuRimthah had stained his beard with henna. The Prophet then warned them not to commit any crime against him. This teaches us that we should always be kind and gentle towards children and never do anything that would harm them in any way. We should also ensure that our actions are in line with Islamic teachings so as not to cause harm or distress to anyone, especially children.
