Emancipation of a Slave

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the emancipation of a slave to the extent of the first man's share.

The tradition mentioned above has also been narrated by Ibn 'Umar from the Prophet . The narrator Ayyub said: I do not know whether the following words are part of the tradition of the Prophet or Nafi' told them himself: "Otherwise he will be emancipated to the extent of the first man's share".

QUICK LESSONS:
Treat your slaves with kindness and respect; Abolish slavery whenever possible; Strive for justice and fairness when dealing with others; Free your slaves to the extent of first man's share

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about freeing slaves, which was an accepted practice in pre-Islamic Arabia. It states that if someone has two or more slaves, they should emancipate one to the extent of the first man's share. This means that if one slave is freed, then all other slaves must be freed as well. The hadith also teaches us that slavery should not be taken lightly and it should be abolished whenever possible. It also encourages people to treat their slaves with kindness and respect, as they are human beings just like everyone else. Furthermore, it teaches us that we should strive for justice and fairness in our dealings with others regardless of their social status or economic standing in society.
