Narrated Sa'd ibn Malik: The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no hamah, no infection and no evil omen; if there is in anything an evil omen, it is a house, a horse, and a woman.
The Prophet also warned against believing in false ideas like hamah which is an Arabic term for bad luck or misfortune caused by supernatural forces. He also warned against believing in infection which means being affected by something negative without any physical contact with it; this could include believing in curses from others or thinking one's fate has been predetermined by some outside force. Lastly he warned against believing in evil omens which are signs of impending disaster like seeing an animal cross one's path before embarking on an important journey.
This hadith reminds us to be mindful of our actions and decisions because they will have consequences regardless of whether we believe in superstitions or not; we should always strive to make wise choices based on our own judgement rather than relying on false beliefs about good fortune coming from outside sources like omens or curses from others.
