Be mindful of your words; Use positive language; Respect others' names; Show cheerfulness when you like something; Show displeasure when you dislike something.

This hadith speaks about the attitude of the Prophet towards names. He did not take omens from anything, but when he sent out an agent or entered a village, he asked about its name. If it pleased him, his cheerfulness was visible in his face and if it displeased him, his displeasure was visible in his face. This shows that the Prophet valued names and took them seriously as they can have a great impact on people's lives. It also teaches us to be mindful of our words and how we address others as well as ourselves because words have power and can affect our emotions positively or negatively. We should strive to use positive language that uplifts us rather than negative language that brings us down.
