EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of patience and forgiveness when dealing with debtors. The Holy Prophet advised a man to be patient and forgiving with his debtor, instead of taking any harsh action against him. He asked the man what he wanted to do with his prisoner, implying that it was better for him to forgive the debt than take any other action. This hadith teaches us that we should always show patience and forgiveness towards those who owe us money or anything else, as this is an important part of our faith as Muslims. We should also remember that Allah will reward us for our good deeds, so if we are able to forgive someone’s debt then we will receive great rewards from Him in return.
