QUICK LESSONS:
Give away your wealth and possessions generously
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that it is permissible for someone to give their property as a life-tenancy or donation to the survivor. A life tenancy is when someone gives another person permission to use their property for a certain amount of time. A donation is when someone gives away their property without expecting anything in return. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that both of these actions are allowed and lawful according to Islamic teachings. This hadith encourages people to be generous with their wealth and possessions by giving them away in order for others benefit from them.
