The Wrongness of Taking Back Gifts

SUMMARY: It is wrong to take back a gift, just like it is wrong to vomit.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet as saying: One who seeks to take back a gift like the one who returns to it vomit. Hammam said: "And Qatadah said: We regard vomiting as unlawful".
