Sunan Abi Dawud 3514 (Book 24, Hadith 99) #23804
Right to Buy Neighboring Property

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) decreed that when two properties are not divided and have no separate roads, the right to buy the neighboring property is applicable.

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah : The Messenger of Allah decreed the right to buy the neighboring property applicable to everything which is not divided, but when boundaries are fixed and separate roads made, there is no option.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect others' rights, Be fair in business dealings, Be honest in transactions .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us about our rights when it comes to buying a neighboring property. He said that if two properties are not divided and have no separate roads, then the right to buy the neighboring property is applicable. This means that if someone wants to buy a piece of land next door, they can do so as long as there are no boundaries or roads separating them from their neighbor's land. This teaches us about respecting each other's rights and being mindful of our actions when it comes to buying or selling land.

The Prophet Muhammad also taught us about fairness in business dealings and transactions. He said that we should always be honest with each other and make sure that everyone involved in a transaction gets what they deserve according to Islamic law. This teaches us how important it is for us all to be fair in our dealings with one another, even when it comes something as simple as buying or selling land.
