EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns against combining two transactions into one bargain, as it may involve usury. Usury is a form of interest that is forbidden in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that if someone makes two transactions combined in one bargain, they should have the lesser of the two or else it will be considered usurious and thus unlawful. This hadith teaches us to be mindful of our financial dealings and to ensure that we are not engaging in any activities which are prohibited by Islamic law. It also reminds us to be honest and fair when conducting business with others, so as not to take advantage of them or cause them any harm or loss.
