Mercy of Believers

SUMMARY: Believers in Allah are the most merciful people when it comes to killing.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet said: The most merciful of the people in respect of killing are believers (in Allah).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ شِبَاكٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ هُنَىِّ بْنِ نُوَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ أَعَفُّ النَّاسِ قِتْلَةً أَهْلُ الإِيمَانِ
